1. Remove three screws

3. Press down on the bearings to make sure they are
completely seated (three places, Fig. 3a above). Note that the
long part of the bearing goes downward (Fig. 3b). Put the ball
in place and roll it to make sure it rolls freely and smoothly.

4. Place the tabs on the cable restraint
in the slots as shown in figure 4a. Now
put the top on the trackball, being sure
to align the top correctly as shown in
figure 4b, making sure that the cable
stays in place. Replace the three
screws. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN
THE SCREWS or you will cause
permanent damage!
